Humana Awards Scholarship to Care Provider Solutions Clients
We are excited to announce the recent scholarship award of $1000 to Care Provider Solutions from Humana! The scholarship amount was split between two Care Provider Solutions clients to defray the cost associated with training. The training will not only help increase profits and prepare for audits but will also help them run their homes more efficiently.

“We are very thankful to receive this scholarship to award to our clients,” says Nadine Carlson, Co-Founder of Care Provider Solutions and Adult Foster Care System Specialist. “Since the Adult Foster Care Industry is facing diminishing profits with increased costs of doing business, this scholarship helps compensate for part of the cost of training to help them overcome this reality.”
Starting this month, both Amazing Grace AFC and Hudson’s Country Manor will learn Facility Management processes to ensure they are charging enough for private pay clients and accepting the correct daily rate from agencies based on the care needs of the residents. “Our goal,” says Nadine Carlson, “is to teach simple systems so they can not only pay the ever-increasing bills but also pay themselves, increase profits and ultimately sleep better at night.”
In addition, as new owners of Hudson’s Country Manor, their staff will learn best practices to streamline processes and procedures to reduce the stress associated with AFC Licensing, Community of Mental Health, and other audits. Since staff motivation and shortages are troublesome, the efficient processes will help save time and simplify the tasks associated with ensuring the facility is audit ready.
